Hey guys.. I know just about nothing as to whats better. Is Intel cpu's better for gaming or is AMD cpu's better for gaming? The same goes for Nvidia gpu's and AMD gpu's.

If you guys could help me out a bit and give me your opinions I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks

Also, who offers the best "bang for your buck"?

In my opinion i think that the Intel CPU would be better for gaming if you have the money to put into it. AMD is amazing but a little bit more budget oriented.I have a R9-290x tri-x and in my opinion it gets everything done with no hassle at all. I have never tried any Nvidia products but i was debating on going with the Gtx-970 or the R9-290x. Overall i am glad i went with the R9-290x. Also dont get me wrong about the Amd Cpu it is amazing but you can get better results with a more expensive Intel Cpu. Hope i helped.

It depends.

End of conversation.

There is too many variables to get into to say which is better because there just isnt.

If you want more info, let me know what your requirements are then Il go into detail but im not typing up a lengthy paragraph which may not even be help to you.

Basically, like in the OP, I want to know what's better for the money.

Budget? 1500 I suppose. Minus KB+M and Monitor.

Basing suggestions off of the Manufacture is the complete wrong thing to do. They both have up-sides, and they both have down-sides.

It also depends what end of the market you want to buy into. It also depends on upgrade paths, build configurations (e.g SLI / Xfire / Custom Loops)

So like Xiggy said, there are wayyyy to many variables to base purchases off of just a brand.
