So, i think i have fried the pcb on my hitachi board, and i never go the chance to dump the orig. because it seemed to happen as soon as i connected the kit on it. so i need someone who knows how to recover keys from the chip then email it to me. Also, please include price for this service.

Edit...ignore the previous message...it's early in the morning and I didn't read the word "fried" in your title...

I will get ahold of someone whom I know deals a lot with PCB boards, etc...see if I can get you a price...if you have Yahoo Messenger...her name is:

hollenengel333

She does a lot of work on drives and flashing...if anyone can hook you up with what you need...I am sure that she can!!! She does top notch work as well...if she asks, just tell her I sent you and she will hook you up

Are you sure the pcb is fried/bricked? What exactly happened for you to think it's fried? Did you hook up your power cable backwards and it smoked/sooted up?

Are you sure it's not stuck in a vendor mode? Does the center light blink rapidly and no response from drive?

I do not have an eeprom programmer for those chips but I know some people who do..
