It's a massive car to practice in.. The only automatic I have driven is a Land Rover Disco 4, but the advice he gave you sounds a little odd. My driving instructor said the same sort of sexual things, it always made me think what sick shit he got up to with his wife..

Good luck for your next lesson though, keep us updated.

Well the car that you drove is probably newer which means the gas, break and steering is going to be very touchy unlike old cars.

I hate the new shit, I had to drive a 2015 Mini for my driving lessons. It had a thing called 'City Drive' which made the steering light af and sensitive af in slow moving traffic then when it got up to speed it would require much more input. It took a while to get used to but oh well

It's hard to get used to touchy cars D:

After a few times driving it you'll be a pro, literally just takes practice.

Yeah me too, but not the city drive. I had something called an 'Eco boost' the engine would turn off at the lights, and if I ever stalled I could barely hear due to it being so quite.

Oh shit I had that too, I hated it so much that I used to hold the clutch in even out of gear just so it wouldn't turn off. Then he told me holding the clutch in like that would get me faults so I had to stop

Once you go out alone a few times when you get your license everything will become second nature. That's how it was for me at least.

My first time driving was pretty bad too. I convinced my mom to let me drive around the block when it was dark and boy was that a mistake. Right when I pulled out I hit the gas too hard and off I went. I got out and told her I was done. Didn't drive again til my lessons.
