i know it sounds weird but no matter what i try (changing colors and even redownloading gamertag) it still has the notifications stuck on black everything else is just fine. the profile color itself changes to the colors i choose along with the normal stuff on the dashboard but notifications stay black. ive tried xbox support and the stuff they suggested are just the normal trial and error junk so i gotta see if someone can help! cant find anything like it on google either

You could try to factory reset the xbox and see if that helps.

didnt help tried that with both my xbox's and still only black notifications and called xbox support.. you most likely know how much help they gave

I think thats just how they do it now because mine does the same other than if im getting invited to a party. Think it depends on the notification and how many accounts are signed in at the same time.
