Im trying to decide what to get for xmas between an ipad or samsung tab, just wondering what markets best for games as thats what il be mostly playing on it

iPad, i used to hate the Samsung appstore, i thought it was awful.

I love my iPad, it's great.
However, when I am playing games it sometimes shuts the app down as I can't handle the graphics / fast paced play.

Ive never had a samsung tab so i cant compare the two but i have an ipad and its pretty good.

I have never owned a Samsung Tab, but a friend of mine has. He said they are slow, and the app store is terrible. He said he'd go for an iPad if he had the choice

I have an iPad, but I would strongly advise getting a Samsung tab. The iPads are great, and I have had my iPad 4 since release and I still use it to this day, almost everyday but like HTTK said, they're just iPods with more processing power which is certainly true.
I think people tend to opt for an iPad if;
Their phone is apple
They like the operating system (which is nice by the way)
Or they are clueless and just bought it for the sake of it.
iPads are good though, but not the best.

Not necessarily, it's probably one of the most optimised mobile operating systems around, although they do release some unstable patches and I'm not a fan of the GUI.
