I have been wanting a tattoo for a while but not as big as that,

Only a little one on my arm but I'm scared of needles and don't know how much it will hurt!

on your arm it wont be too bad, I got my first one on my upper arm and the best way i can describe the pain is tiny cat scratches on sunburn, probably a 3/10 on the pain scale, and you can buy numbing creams to help you through, and dont look at the needle

To elaborate more on this, It really depends on the person, and the place where you're getting it regarding pain. Different people have different pain thresholds. I have a 3/4 sleeve so far, my bicep didn't hurt at all but some parts on my forearm hurt a bit as did il the middle of the joint between the forearm and upper arm, it's really tender there. For the most part it is like scratching and sunburn. I've never used numbing creams personally but to each their own. There's honestly nothing to be scared of, if it's a small one it'll be over before you know it, longer sittings like 4+ hours can be a bit gruelling at the tail end. I always look at the needle and the work, some people can't though it's just one of those things.

You should go for it, trust me your fears will be allayed once you get it done and you'll be wanting to add to it straight away.

Pain Rating - 9/10!

Thats pretty cool man! Is this your first one?
I've just got my first one. I am afraid of needles and stuff but this never hurt me at all I would put this on a 2/10 pain scale. It was a 4 hour sitting and I really love it.
I only wanted a small one to start with to see if i can handle the pain but now im planning on many more haha.

Here's a pic:

I am sorry. I don't believe that took 7 hours:/

Pretty cool design though don't get me wrong!

For the pain on chest some areas felt a little painful compared to others, just wouldn't consider it to be a huge pain just very irritating as it's constant ahah.
