Hey guys I just got my Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400Mhz today (was really cheap on amazon) but the max speed I can achieve is only 1600Mhz. It started at 1333 but then I read up on it and turned on the XMP profile which brought it up to 1600MHz but thats still a good bit off what it should be at. My PC components are
i7 3770
MOBO - B75MA-P45

I've read up that maybe changing the timings manually might work but im not sure which values go where:?

Any and all help will be appreciated

Does your CPU/Mobo support RAM with a higher mhz than 1600?

You can use up to 2400Mhz DDR3 memory in that motherboard provided you have a 22nm CPU which you have. It is classed as overclocking, but don't worry its the lowest form of it. Usually setting the XMP profile to On will let the RAM use its rated speed. Failing that you can manually set RAM frequency and CAS timings but thats more advanced.

Yea I've set the XMP to on and under that it shows the ram as 'Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2400MHz' but it will only let me select up to 1600MHz :/ I've also tried setting the timings but I'm not sure if I got them all right, the Rams timings are 11-13-13-31 but then there's something set at 240, does this need changed ?
Thanks for the help

Firstly I would try loading optimised defaults in the BIOS which will clear all settings then proceed to enable XMP again to see if that works, if it doesn't then try with each stick on its own. Can you also post the model number of the sticks you are trying to use?
