Okay, so I might be making this a common thing now and again. Throughout this post I will be speaking about the KN-44 assault rifle, it's stats, best attachments and it's kinks.
To start off, this weapon is one of the higher damaging ARs within black ops 3. It's damage profile is 40 at close range, 30 at medium and only 29 at long range. Meaning the KN-44 is a 3 to 4 shot kill. But because the close range damage is CLOSE, you will mainly be getting 4 shot kills.
Headshots are USELESS on the KN-44. Unless you're going for camos, I'd stick to aiming for the body. It will not get you any less shots to kill.
Because of its high damage, to even it out, the rate of fire is only 625RPM which is very slow. It is similar to the AN-94 in terms of rate of fire.
The TTK (Time to kill) with this weapon is slow, however. Although it has amazing power, its rate of fire cuts it back from being a god weapon. This weapon goes from being a beast to more of an Average Joe.
The default magazine size for this weapon is 30. If you put extended mags on, that bumps up to 42 but personally, I wouldn't recommend it.
The recoil on this weapon isn't anything spectacular but it is usable. It shakes a bit whilst shooting but is definitely usable in my eyes.
In my opinion, this good is not an amazing god send like other weapons in the game. You are not going to slaughter people simply with this gun. But the gun is a great starter weapon with all around decent stats. It's an average joe and usable on every map.
For attachments, I'd advise running Quickdraw for the extra ADS time, Long barrel to double the ranges of the 3 shot kill and even a red dot sight or any type of optic. All over, this weapon has potential to be a beast.
