Okay so i first heard about this when watching ancient aliens. Apparently it was documented that in ww2 soldiers were sent to the north pole because they believed the Nazi's had a secret base there. When they got to the north pole they notice a large hole in the ground and a large ufo flew out and attacked them. Many soldiers died and the remaining ones were ordered never to speak of the incident again.
Thats basically the summary of what i seen. I did alot of research afterwards and there is many storys on the theory. I also heard that one guy was flying a plane over the pole and ended up flying into the 'inner earth' where he seen trees and a city inside of the earth.
The goverment would be sure to hide this from the public if all this is true. They don't want us to know the truth, as it gives them more power over us.

I take issues with what you've said here..
"The gover[n]ment would be sure to hide this from the public if all this is true. They don't want us to know the truth, as it gives them more power over us."
If the government really does control everything then you wouldn't know about this story. Anyone who knew anything would've been dealt with. The "History" Channel sure as hell wouldn't of been allowed to have aired such a story, also ending up in the dealing with of the people who knew of said story.
You see, the problem here, along with the Illuminati conspiracy, is that if these groups/events really existed/happened then we wouldn't even know about them! That information would be so secret, so above secret, that very few trusted people would know the truth.
Those who think they are "exposing" wouldn't of been allowed to "expose" in the first place.

Eh... I see what you're saying, but only the most tinfoil-hat batshit-crazy conspiracy nuts are attributing omnipotence and omniscience to the government.
It is possible that they have these secrets but occasionally someone will see or release something they shouldn't have.
Perhaps they let the history channel run these documentaries because they know that most people view it as nonsense, or they know that the show won't provide definitive proof so they don't have to worry about it making the headlines.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think the Earth is hollow or that the government is trying to hide it, but I do think it's possible that if it was things would still be leaked every now and again about it.
@OP: Ancient Aliens is pseudohistory at best. You really cannot trust that show, they will state the most off-the-wall interpretations of events like they are the only historical possibility.
