Love how people are giving you so much hate and act like they hadn't done the same.

Heck, I've smashed a work laptop screen, killed a fair few pc's, made my own pc overheat 3 times. I'm so clumsy but things happen. Good thing you had warranty.

It's okay man. I was in the other day leaving my MS class, and sat my things on top of the car to put my books and stuff in the car, and just hopped in and drive off.. 15 mins later realize my laptop was up there, went back to look for it.. Found it where my car was shattered.

I did that once with my old laptop except it was with milk from a cereal bowl. Thus is why I don't own a laptop anymore.

well, if you think that's bad. I once set a full glass of cola on top of an xbox 360 slim(few years back of course) and I let the dog into my room.

Now my dog was jumping near the glass and almost hit it, I swung my hand towards the cup to defend it from my dog.

Unfortunately my dog is some sort of ninja as she managed to slam my hand into the cup, knocking it over and spilling all of the contents into the large hole cut out for the fan.

the very second this happened the screen went blue and I heard a faint popping noise.

I just stared at it for a few seconds and said, well shit.

That is a pretty tragic story, but then again I have had similar problem.

Thank god that you still had warranty, easy mistake to make I suppose.

Hope that warranty covered root beer accidents.
