Hey guys,
so ive Found there is an item duplication glitch, ive tried a few different methods that i thought may work and this is the only one i found that does.
Requirements:-
Items you can drop / Dogmeat follower.
Method:-
First command dogmeat to STAY a few feet away from you, next drop what ever you want on the floor, then command him to fetch the item from the floor, as he lowers his head to pick it up, you pick it up he will still pick it up and drop it on the floor in a few seconds. this can be done with any dropped item.
SPECIAL.
You can get a magazine under shauns cot in your old house, if you use the method above, you can keep picking it up and getting the points and get as many special stats as you like.
Be warned this will make the game easy and a little boring so i wouldnt recommend unless you have already completed the game and want a little easier fun playthorugh.
Have fun and any issues feel free to ask, also please leave a few comments to stop this from hitting bottom so people can see its here and help others

Thanks, yeah i didnt find it untill my second playthrough.
If anything now i only use it for rare ammo typos like .44 .50 etc and for Cores for power armor.
But that being said it might be wort making a new save now, and then just doing all the dupes on it ready to use, as im sure something like this will be patched out pretty soon.

can you use it to douplicate **** 500 rounds of ammo at once?

Yeah ypu can aslong as they are stackable

No you have to highlight dog from a distance press command then highlight the book and press fetch

Just a quick update the duplication ammo is a bit tricky, sometimes it will drop stacks sometimes it will drop a single bullet, It can take a long time to do.
Personally i just use it to dupe things like Mini nukes and fusion cores.

even if you have still used it it will still work, basically what happens is, it duplicates the magazine so if you follow the steps above, then you have 2 in your inv drop them both and 1 will give a skill point and 1 will not, repeat the steps above untill you have maxxed the skills.
