About to order everything but need to make sure i'm not making any mistakes.

I do not plan on overclocking so I went with the 6500 instead of the 6600k, probably going to go with just a 1TB HDD instead of 3TB but besides that, how is this build? My budget is $1500 USD btw.

(I am also open to any other builds that are within my budget, trying to get the biggest bang for my buck.)

Hyperthreaded CPU, but no SLI support, which isn't a huge issue but you're looking at an extra $50 or so for SLI support, if wanted. Get a 1TB HDD if you want to save $20 or spend $20 more for a 3TB. I'd go eith the 2TB at least.

390 option:

Cheaper, HT CPU, very good GPU (not as good as 980ti), can add another 390 in XFire

Fury X option:

Can add another Fury if you wish, almost as powerful as 980ti

980ti option:

Most powerful option, under budget, can add another 980ti in SLI if you wish

Looking at the 980ti option, would the EVGA SC+ ACX 2.0 be a better option compared to the STRIX?

It'll perform about the same, for $5 difference, it doesnt really matter tbh. I'd keep the Strix for aesthetics, but feel free to change it to the SC+ version!

Strix also runs passively up to 60C so if you like silence then take that into consideration.
