The new card is in and when I start my pc, I get a black screen. I tried uninstalling old drivers and program associated with the old card. Still no image on monitor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are going to need a bit more info than the nothing you gave us.

What's your old card?
What's your new card?
What's your PC Specs?
Are the old drivers fully un-installed?

Ok sorry for the lack of info. I'm going to try to plug in my old gta pics card and get you specs.

BTW I appreciate any help in advance. I rather not bring my PC to best buy.

The on-board video would suffice for doing that.

Just make sure that the PCI clip was completely clipped and the power connections are fully inserted. It's a common issue and a very easy one to make.

See I have a large blown up screen right now. I don't know what clip your talking about. I almost wish I could video chat with you.

It won't look like this due to my motherboard. But you get the point.

Make sure that clips in when you insert the GPU.

Yes I understand. Mine is clipped in. I checked that first. Now when I take the old card out how do I get video to my monitor. Do I use bios? And how do I make sure I don't fail lol.

If the fans spin that's a good sign.

How many of the outputs have you tried?

DVI / HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA (really?)
