I will keep this relatively short, I am just going to briefly show you my bike and tell you what I intend to do with it in the near future.
Make: Yamaha
Model: WR125X
Year of manufacture: 2015
Engine size: 125 cc
Reg: 65 plate
Colour: Black
The pictures do not do the bike justice. The colours are much better and brighter in person.

- I intend to get a new exhaust for my bike. Possibly an arrow or a scorpion exhaust, both of which give the bike a deeper 'beefier' sound.
I also intend on getting a tail tidy for my bike as it just makes the bike look that little bit tidier on the rear, hence the name.
Lastly, I want to get a new air filter (K&N) and potentially a bore kit.

Nice but don't get a bore kit as they're normally cheap Chinese parts, it will void the warranty and make the bike half as reliable.
Just wait to get a bigger bike if you want more power, trust me. The price of it will also drop a lot as only pillocks would want it with a bore.
But on the other hand i recommend Arrow as they really bring the noise, also look great too and are great quality. The tail tidy is a good idea, will be buying one for my XR soon :thumbsup:
You have a nice bike there, don't destroy it.

Nice bike! Was seriously considering one of these a few months back but decided against it. I personally wouldn't go with the big bore kit because of the reasons above.
Also in person I agree they are much better than the pictures, I love the size of them.

Congrats on the new bike man..
I originally wanted this until I seen the Grom which that stole my heart.
Mods you have planned so far are probably the best thing to start with.
Any plans on riding it through winter months? if you are better get it prepped soon

As far as winter riding I think I am just going to ride as long as there is no snow / ice. I want ensure that the bike is in good condition at all times so I don't fancy taking a risk and riding when its icy. Although, when it comes to riding in cold conditions im sure heated grips may come in useful so I might buy some soon.

To be on the safe side though buddy buy some ACF-50 and give your bike a once over to protect it from road salt etc
That shit will eat your bike alive.. I know from last year riding through winter, the bolts that hold my sprocket were seized because of the road salt.
Took my local mechanic half an hour to get all the bolts off it as how bad it actually was.

Just a slight update, and not one that I wanted to be saying.
Today on my way to work I was turning a corner and my front wheel got caught on the tram line. The bike went one way and I went the other. The bike is in fairly good condition bearing in mind that I came off doing around 20 Mph.
The front brake lever is grazed and the throttle grip is damaged. When I accelerate it sticks instead of easing off. The back fairing beside the seat has snapped and my right rear indicator is dangling down. It sounds like a lot of damage but it's not much, it could have been worse.
I'm more worried about my bike than myself. My left leg came out the worse as its cut and swollen around the knee, followed by plenty of bruising. My right knee is bruised but nothing major. I'm walking with a limp for now because of my left leg. However, I plan on getting my bike fixed as soon as. If I do decide to upload images then it will be at a later date, maybe in a day or two.
Ride / drive safe.
