hi,
im looking for a laptop for around £200 but am willing to go up to £250.
i would appreciate if you use a British retailer preferably PC world or currys etc..
i will be using it mainly to complete coursework but will also use it for internet usage not really gaming so wont have to support any games.

Best bet will be a refurbished HP, Dell or Lenovo business laptop. They have great build quality and are fast.

You'll be able to pick a a decent spec for around £200.

Look on ebay for:

Lenovo X-Series or T-Series

HP 8460p and others with 4 numbers and p at the end

Dell also make some good laptops in the E-series. E6430, E6530 etc.

Get a chromebook, I've used mine for college and it's never given me any issues.
