Hi. So since 2009, my friends and I have been listening to Dubstep, and electronic music involving tons of modulation, but it seems that they have moved over to trap. I feel as if I am the only person still looking for that heavy modulation growl. Kill the Noise does it best, but he sadly moved over to trap. If anyone has anything similar to these, please post them below. Thanks!

Thing is though this isn't exactly dubstep though if u want dubstep listen to UK artist
Skream
Benga
Artwork
Hatcha
DMZ (coki n mala)
Rusko
Caspa
Flux pavilion
Funtcase
Cookiemonsta
Modestep (although its electro rock, still has dub step)
Magnetic man (benga skream and artwork)
p0gman
50 carrot
Dodge and fuski
Nero (some songs from welcome reality)
Doctor P ( earlier days)
Skisim

Also to listen to get darker dubstep on YouTube (people say dubstep is dead but if u want a underground sound check them out) the songs they play/producer isn't none of this brostep shit none of this skrillex sound that people sadly call dubstep, just proppa British dubstep:)

Some of these have been producing dub step tracks since 2004 .listen to skream and benga though people call them the founders of dubstep ,i mean there not just there some of the first people to make dub step tracks

Midnight line request by skream(2006) ,that got me into dub step
Banging tune

Also I would recommend you listening to fabric live 37
Also would recommend diary of an afro warrior by benga (amazing album)

Thanks for this mate, I really appreciate it.
I say "dubstep" because the particular sound/sub genre that I am interested in is assumed to be dubstep by Americans; unfortunately it actually falls under the broad category of Electronic, so there really isn't any way to know what I'm about to listen to. Most of the time it's terrible electro house and trap. Don't get me wrong, I love the actual reggae-inspired dubstep, but most people are very lazy when it comes to modulating these days and it ends up sounding like someone is taking a wet **** (if you don't know what I am talking about, listen to Getter). It seems like nowadays people are only trying to create dubstep as fast as possible without any thought of how it actually sounds.
Again thanks for posting this mate, should be a lot of good material here

I don't listen to trap because to me it's really lazy. I legit could make a successful trap song in 15-20 mins. Just seems to me like the dubstep artists are tired of spending time on EQ modulation; idk that's just the way I look at it 1234((
