Hello,
I am trying to use a 100% game save for Call of Duty. I used to have one (a real one I earned beating the game on veteran, but I deleted it by accident.) I downloaded some 100% saves, and switched the profile ID and all that like you normally do in Horizon. However, the Xbox/game refuses to acknowledge the new game save. It still shows the same first 2 missions played through, but nothing else.
I have tried taking out the HDD and playing off a thumb drive that just has my profile and the 100% save, but it still seems to read this mysterious game save that only has the first 2 missions unlocked.
Any ideas?

Put your profile on a USB and then drag the file into your profile via horizon or something and hit rehash and resign and it should work. Or maybe you just got a bad game save

I think from Blops 1 too the latest Cod if you beat the story on veteran it's saved to your Profile.
Try adding a 100% GPD to your profile with the save.

It is Call of Duty 4, so that won't work. I should probably point out that this started happening after I edited the GPD profile for Call of Duty 4 to fix the colorful message of the day that some modder put in there.

I did, but as soon as I connected to Xbox Live, the date on it changed from 2008 (when I first beat the game) to 2011 (some other save I had.) Now the 2008 save is gone.
I am trying to just download a veteran save online, but like I said, I do it all the right way, but the game still shows I have played the first 2 missions only. It completely ignores the new save.

It does not work. As I said in another post, this first started happening when I edited the GPD profile for the game to fix some colorful message of the day that some hacker put in there when I accidentally was put in a modded game. I fixed that correctly, now the message of the day is right, and online works...everything works except for this.
The game is reading from somewhere that I have only unlocked the first 2 missions. I don't have a save that has just the first 2 missions unlocked but somehow, it is saying that.

I just checked and it's saved to your Profile's GPD whether you beaten campaign on veteran.
So a 100 save won't work.
You'll need a 100% GPD as well.

For Call of Duty 4 too? Because I did beat it on veteran and the achievements are unlocked from legit playing. However, it only shows in the game that I played 2 missions. What does the game save even do then if it is in the GPD?

100% I checked just to be sure ,I have completed the game on veteran.
So selected a usb which didn't have any saves and it showed me all the missions that I completed on vet without any saves being loaded.
