So on Monday I start my software development course in college, I just wanted to know from personal experience is it really hard, and what jobs you have got out of it or what you plan on doing.

The following 1 user thanked Gavin- for this useful post:

No its not hard. At first it may be confusing but if you're that interested in it, you'll get the hang of it. And there are many jobs as a programmer so after college you shouldn't have a problem finding a good paying job if you know what you're doing

It involves a lot of simple/complex math and being able to keep up with what is going on in the program you are working in, but it really is not that bad. As long as you take decent notes and show up to class you should be fine.

Depending on what your learning you may pick it up fast but to be honest so far programming and just making random stuff is now a hobby of mine using C. Very addicting. It's not hard if you put your mind to it just think logically like a computer would.

I would like to take time out of my day to tell you about an important issue; your grammar. You don't capitalize every single word. You're starting to look like a .NET programmer (lel 'programmers' around here always are).

Seriously though, learn proper grammar.
