From my knowledge and experience, the corvette and GTR can be highly modified.

- Repairs aren't as expensive as a BMW or Mercedes on the vettes, and gtr's are know cars to be modified and are easy fixers to do your self.

- Insurance...It's not that bad, driving a V8, or a classic import like the GTR isn't that expensive...just find the right policy. Or wait until you can afford a sports car

Repairs:
Really? Look up how much it would cost just to get a new rotor for a lambo lol.

Insurance:
Let me put it this way. My truck costs me around 100/mo. It is a '97 F-150 V8 4x4. My brothers 2013 Mustang with the V6 costs him around 400/mo and he doesn't even have full insurance. I could only imagine what a Lambo, Ferrari, you name it costs.

Not always making negative comments, just stating the facts. If you look, this comment was not negative. I was simply answering a question in that I could not financially own one of these cars for the reasons of repairs and insurance, and I could not fit the things I need in any of those vehicles.

Where do you live? Are you the sole driver / policy holder? Me at 17 being the sole driver, my rates are going to be higher than your dad's rates lol.

probably the mclaren just because they are so rare. r34's are becoming a dime a dozen (not the gtr but all of them in general).

Always had a soft spot for Lamborghini. they look so mean especially the gallardo
