I honestly have no idea what you tried to type.

dang some of those cars aren't stock. that's so rice

Why do you bother hanging around the cars section? 75% of the comments you make sound like you don't know what you are talking about.

"Her her her, it's modified so it's a ricer".

Otherwise it looks great! That Z28 is similar to my buddys (Mind you his isnt as great of shape and his is a 6 cylinder ) and that roush tho! Thats one of the best sounding mustangs in my opinion! Thanks for the post man!

GM didn't make a V6 Z28...

Z= z rated tires
2= dual exhaust
8= v8

Yeah and 4th gen stangs are my favorite too, and those rims do suck.

I know this. I meant aesthetically buddy. Talking about this camaro body style in general. Also, to help you, think of a cobra mustang bumper on a GT, looks the same, but different engine. DO yo understand me now?

I wasn't trying to insult your knowledge or anything...I was just making sure your buddy wasn't trying to call his V6 camaro a Z28. The Z28 badge is only given to camaros deserving of the title. You didn't mention it wasn't a Z28 you just said it looked like it making me assume it was a Z28...You should have been more clear

You know z28 doesn't have a meaning its just a power option or back in the old days it came from the RPO code in the vin of the car

Stay with the Pontiac's

And yes i know Z28 doesn't stand for any of that, it is just a little saying. Must Z28's don't even come with z rated tires and they aren't even true dual exhaust. The Z28 was just a manufacture code just like WS6 was with the Firebirds.

"Stay with the Pontiac's"
What if I told you camaros and firebirds are the exact same car just different company. They are both GM made cars with LS engines. Only difference is the body style, not really...they are both considered F-Body's. They just have slightly different mechanical features like suspension.

When you order a car, each option has its own code. Codes are usually grouped in sets; in 1967, when the Camaro was introduced the Super Sport came standard with the L48 engine ("L" seems to be the prefix for engines) with the L35 being the 396/325 and the L78 being the 396/375. The "Z" seems to be the prefix for packages and options grouped together, such as the Rally Sport (Z22) and "Special Interior Group" (Z23). The Z28 - a Trans Am homologation special was no different. It's just an RPO code.

To add onto this:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Use Control + F to find "Z28" and "WS6" (conveniently enough, the cars were named after these codes)

Z28 : MERCHANDISED PKG, SPECIAL PERFORMANCE

WS6 : PERFORMANCE PACKAGE, SPECIAL
