So I have 9 keys to trade with and its been three days, from the guide I used you should ask for quicksells but does that ever happen? I have been spamming offers to lots of people and bumping my trade? Is it just luck or am I doing something wrong? Would appreciate some tips for low tier trading. Thanks!

really you just have to wait until someone contacts you

or just keep asking and asking until you find a trade

Good deals do take time and if you are doing key trading it's going to take even longer because even is trying to do it for profit. It's also a lot harder the lower you trade. I buy and sell items over $400 and I am at the max getting 10 keys profit each time I flip an item. I would suggest when you buy an item to get one that is above average to help negotiate. Rarely do I have a fn knife that doesn't have less than a .03 fv Even my mw howl has .08 and almost fn look. Many guides want people to sell for 90% and I can tell you from experience it won't happen. If you sell at 85% many people still buy for that and like I said before if something is good on it they are more willing to pay. You should be waiting for the new case by the way. Prices will be fluctuating for a lot of skins soon since the case will have new skins for highly used guns.

You say wait for the new case, what like wait for the prices of regular skins to drop then trade? Will they go back up again? Is that what happens or am I wrong?

Yes, if the new skins are better than previous prices can drop. When the hyper beast came out the cyrex dropped quite a bit. Make sure you don't trade with the new items as well. They are going to change a lot while prices settle. I normally sit on keys for a few days after a case drops.
