So I was gonna make a build awhile back but something came up. I'm happy I waited because now I can get a skylake build. This build will be used for gaming and some video editing and live streaming. The games I will be playing will include GTA5, Battlefield, Cod, Csgo, H1z1, Gary's Mod, Ark survival, Dead Realm, Eso, and future games such as Rainbow six, and no mans sky. And I want to be maxing these games settings out at 1080p while always having a minimal of 60fps. If this gpu can't do that I need one that can like the 980ti. I will also be getting windows 10 from g2a and I'll be getting red power supply cables and a custom dust filter set for the case. And I know the h100i isint the best but I'm hoping the gtx version is better but either way I only plan on having a moderate overclock so my cpu shouldn't get that hot I was thinking 4.5v since I've heard it can go to 4.7 easy. Will the h100igtx be good enough I'm going to be doing a push pull so that should help a little as well. Anyways here is the build please give your opinion and feel free to make me a better one of you can. Thanks in advance!

No need for a bazillion fans etc, and quiet edition fans are great, but a silent case is better imo.

Thanks So just a push config on the x61 will be better then a push pull h100i? I was getting the h100i because corsair doesent make 140m SP fans to use with the X61 at least not the red ring ones only led's. Also is the kingston headset better then the one i had chosen? And you didint answer my question... i said im fine with 1080p gaming and i only wanted a 980ti if the r9 390 couldent acheive atleast 60fps at max settings on the games i listed. Also is the ssd you suggested really worth the extra $100? There both 1tb Ssd's how much faster can the one be from the other. And i like the 540 air because its duel chamber design it makes cable management a breeze and has amazing airflow for cooling since im not doing a custom loop or anything.

you can afford 4K, why not do it? if not then a 390 and 1440P would be wiser than 1080P.
X61 is overall better as it has a larger surface area and the fans supplied are great.
Nothing but great reviews from the Kingston headset, great mic and great speakers.
SSD wise, 850 Pro vs Evo, the Pro is rated for a lot longer lifespan and also a bit faster so why not, especially as it states (from what I have quickly found) that the Pro can do 2X the read life than the Evo.
Define R5 is silent, great for cable management and will take up less space than the 540, but it's main speciality is that it is a silent case, meaning virtually no fan drone which can be annoying if you are an audio freak, which judging by all the quiet edition fans in the 1st post, you care about acoustics.

Well i want my whole build to be good and balanced i dont want to have to downgrade anything to get a 980ti and 4k monitor 1080p 60fps will be fine for me considering ive been a xbox gamer for 5 years and even on xbox one your lucky to get a solid 30fps at 1080p on most games. And imo a 390 doesent handle 1440p as good as i whould want ive seen it struggle to get 50fps on more demanding games at maxed settings. However other games it can get 80+ so idk either way i would only get a 60hz 1440p monitor anyway so it could work. But the 1080p 144hz 1ms response time might be better for the games i play like csgo, cod and battlefield. And i am thinking about getting the nzxt h440 because that has the power supply cover for cable management and its almost just as silent as the r5 and it comes in red and black to match my build. Which btw is why i chose the mother board and memory i did. Yours doesent match very well lol. if i was going to go with a 980ti i would get the msi one because it looks amazing. Also what do you think of WD Red? I was thinking of just getting a 4tb one as my secondary storage.

1ms response time is a load of BS, plus it comes with shitty TN panels. Grab a nice IPS display and deal with the response time as the panels can only do around 16ms but that is all of them, all the response time stuff is a marketing ploy.
H440 doesn't get as good airflow as the R5 or air 540..
if you said red and black I would have accommodated for it.
WD reds are quiet but slower

Agree, if you have a $3000 budget and want to game at 1080p something is up, you can afford 4k so why not take advantage of it?

Lol did you even read the post.. i was saying i didint even want one 980ti unless i needed it. Two of them would be absolutely overkill even for 4k gaming why suggest x99 and then suggest only 8gb of ram? At least suggest 16gb 4 sticks 4gb each whats the point of having 8 memory slots if im only going to use 2 of them? And why pay more money for a x99 build and a 5820k when i said in the post im mainly gaming a 6700k and a skylake build will be still overkill for what i need. I could get a 4690k and it would do fine. Im only getting skylake because its newer and only slightly more expensive but i do not need x99. It would be pointless also no need for WD black its only my secondary storage and you could get a seagate drive for half of that. Getting the build you suggested would pretty much be me flushing money down the toilet i would be buying things i dont and well never need... a 390 and 6700k will be more then enough to game at 1080p max settings on pretty much any game.

then why would you ask for help with a build if you are just gonna say all of this?
