Hello Everyone,

I have created a multiplayer game that is a 2D Sidescroller. I'm mainly looking for people interesting in giving this game a try. The game is played straight through your web browser. I want people to check for bugs, give their opinions, comments, and ideas. Tell me if you enjoyed it, what you would improve, etc. I have been making games for 4+ years now and I finally decided to make one public. This game was created by a simple idea I had a month ago. I was just scribbling on a post-it note and then the idea came to life. This game is very simple. I have quite a few ideas I would like to add to it, but before that happens I would like to do a general test on the main mechanics.

Having been a member of this website for over 5 years I figured I would share it on here since people seem to be nice and give feedback. I bought a domain and created a simple website just to host this game and other games in the future. I did all the artwork and programming myself. I've spent a week preparing this post and I feel it's good enough that it's worth sharing now. I'm pretty much just looking for feedback. If its criticism try to make it constructive!

Feedback:
I am very curious on one thing. So if anything, please let me know the following:
1. What was your average ping in the top right hand corner? (Will show up once you are in a game).

Preparing to play:
This game was made in Unity 3D so:
1. You need to download the Unity 3D WebPlayer plugin takes 30 seconds to install.
a. https://unity3d.com/webplayer
2. After you install it, if it asks you to run the plugin, allow it access.
3. Play!

From here, if you use Firefox or Internet Explorer you are ready to go. If you use Chrome you MAY need to enable NPAPI, if you haven't in the past. Instructions are down below.

If you want to jump straight into the game, go here:

A few things to keep in mind:
1. If you stay on the main menu for 5 minutes without doing anything it will disconnect you and you will have to refresh the webpage. It will give you a 3 minute warning. The reason why is explained in #2.
2. I can only have 100 people connected at one time. It used to be 20 so I had to design something just to keep new people flowing. However I don't think Ill hit 100 connected users at the same time on TTG.
3. If I do hit 100 users, great! You can still play, that is what Solo Mode is for.
4. 4 Players per room, up to 25 rooms are possible.
5. I would really love to make it so there are at least 10 people per room. If this test is successful, I will attempt to do that.

If you use Chrome:
Because Chrome has gotten stupid with Java and all that junk we have to enable a setting in chrome called NPAPI.
To understand this better read this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

1. Navigate to: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
2. The next thing you may notice is this:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
3. If you see this you need to enable NPAPI.
4. Navigate to: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
5. You will see this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
6. Click Enable then scroll down and relaunch the browser.
7. If you havent grabbed the Unity 3D Webplayer download that from: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
8. If it asks you to run the plugin, allow it access.
9. Play!

About the game:
Run is a multiplayer 2D game where users compete for the fastest time from one side of the map to another. Users are placed in a map that is randomly generated at runtime, thus allowing the possibility for replay value to be quite endless. Up to 4 players per room are allowed. I want this to go way up. The more people, the more fun!

I don't want to give away too much because I want you to discover things for yourself. However, when a player spawns they will notice several things. There is a timer at the top that counts down from 15 Minutes. When the timer hits 0, the game is over and it sends you back to the main menu. The game resolution is defaulted to 1280x720 in the browser. I picked this resolution because I would like to think most people have at least a display that is 1366x768 or higher.

Looks like I'm the first tester. I like the concept. I've played games similar to this, like Dino Run, Fun Run. Ping was alright, went a little high but I didn't experience any lag.

I'd suggest some BG artwork and maybe character skins. You could probably find someone on here that could help you with it. You could possibly add obstacles to make the course more difficult to finish.

I liked it and would be glad to test if you decide to update it.
