I was just arguing with someone over this, so I came to this forum to post something about it, but we already have a topic, so pointless. Anyways, anyone saying the flat earthers are just joking, they are not. They literally shut down any evidence you give them and don't listen. I personally think a flat earth is ridiculous, but they aren't by any means joking. They have a bullshit excuse for everything except for lunar eclipses and why the government is hiding the flat earth from us. I haven't had the success of getting those out of a flat earther.

Interestingly enough, the Earth is actually quite close to being flat.
Yes, it is an oblate spheroid - like someone has already stated - but the curvature of the Earth is just 0.000126 degrees per mile.
That is very close to being flat.
