If you want better mileage and little more power look into a bullydog tuner. I would NOT run it performance mode on a stock transmission or you will ruin it. Maybe not immeadiately but it would eventually mess it up. But running an 87 octane tune would actually give you better mileage. I am not sure where you live but they also have an e85 tune if you wanna go that route.

CAI's don't do anything but make the engine look cooler, so right off the bat I would take that off the list.

Halo headlights, be ready to fork out a decent amount of cash or you will be stuck with POS lights like what I got the first time around.

Why a bull bar instead of a Road Armour bumper or something? I think bull bars on lifted trucks are pointless, but to each their own.

As far as the muffler, it all depends on your engine and what kind of sound you are looking for. I would almost re-do the entire exhaust to a true dual, but that's just me.

Where are the pics?

Since when? Better air flow results in better combustion... That's a very poor interpretation. Noticable power? Maybe a little. Its not a turbo. But running cooler air into the engine with a larger quantity? That's better.

There have been MULTIPLE experiments showing the same thing- they don't do anything but look pretty.

You need to look at where your vehicle pulls it's air from too. My truck pulls air out of the fender, so it already pulls cold air. A CAI is an open filter in the engine bay so it is pulling hot air from the engine.

I mean that video is fine and dandy but a CAI is better than stock. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I am a diesel mechanic and itll pull more air so you can say all you want about it not being useful. You throw an intake on anything you will notice slight throttle response and maybe a 1-2mpg. But what do I know

1-2 mpg? I don't think so lol. Cold air intakes take hot air from the engine bay. You look at where my brothers car takes air from, it is in the grill, my truck gets it from the fender, etc. These are places that will get colder air than a CAI. You can say what you think about them, but facts are facts. CAI's don't do anything unless your vehicle has a horrible design to get air to the engine.

Here's the thing, you could stuff all of the wind blowing across the planet into your air box, and it wouldn't really make a difference. All that air still needs to pass a very important component: your throttle body. Remember the movie 300? They defended that small canyon pass for a reason, no matter how many baddies came towards them, they all had to squeeze through that small pass. Your throttle blade is essential Leonidas and his 300 pals. That's it's entire job, to change the amount of air flowing into your engine to meet an air-fuel ratio of 14.7:1. To really change the amount of air flowing into your engine, you first need to upgrade the size of your throttle body.

Lol get a diesel and you'd understand the concept a little better.
