Today marks the 1 year that I came out to my school as gay, and I could not be any more happier. If anybody is thinking about it, and you are in the right environment, I would highly encourage you doing it I didn't want to leave high-school regretting it, ( I have 1 more year after this). If you need any advice (I am limited ) just add me

Well congratulations I guess, don't see why it's such a big deal though.

I stressed about it for awhile so it's a big deal to me.

Lol, this post is going to be deleted as it certainly isnt a milestone or achivement.

Oh, it was an achievement for me. Sorry.

Congratulations!

I came out in college, it was very difficult for me.
I lost a lot of relationships I thought were unbreakable and many family members.
But coming out isn't for everyone else, its for you!
I know a lot of people here aren't going to be supportive or kind about this, so don't let them get to you.
I'm proud of anyone who has the courage to be who they truly are in such a small minded world.

Don't listen to anyone else. Coming out takes a lot of courage and am glad you're happy now! Don't let anyone bring you down because of your sexuality. I'm straight and I don't see why people discriminate.

Yeah you shouldn't be afraid to come out. I know some people are against it but they can deal with it

dude thats awesome! Nothing wrong with being gay!

I must ask though, how did your family react? Where they supportive? I just came out as a vegan today to my mom and she kinda wasnt on board with it, being a vegan also kinda hints at being an atheist and my mom is hardcore christian soooo she didnt like it that much lol..

Having unsupportive family REALLY blows man, but anyway glad you are happy with life! Keep being awesome man!

My family don't ever talk about it. Can't say they're completely on board with it, but I don't mention it because I still rely on their finances, and if anything went wrong.... I would be screwed. I'm also an atheist, and my grandparents are christian, but they don't care at all, my dad is also an atheist. Thank you for your kind comment, and I hope you have a fantastic day
