Okay so today i go to check my bell and it is 70$ higher. So a month ago, I called comcast because my internet was slow and was staying like that for a week. Before she scheduled an appointment, I asked her I would be charged. She said no. Only if its something that needs to be replaced that it was my fault. So the day that he comes he checks everything and nothing is wrong. He said my modem had to many devices connected. He said I need a better router and that was it. So I check online more to see what was the problem and it was they put the wrong file or something along those lines for the bandwidth. I called sure enough that was the problem.

So my question is why they charge me an extra 70$ for nothing and telling me a completely wrong solution for my problem.

Comcast is terrible, they try and take every penny form you at every chance. I recommend calling them and complaining.

That's like what happened with me with Comcast. I'm supposed to get 105 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload and I was getting like 40 download and 10 upload so I called them out here and they said it was "signal interference" from our cable boxes so they replaced those and the wires in the walls. After they left there was no change and when I saw the bill there was a $40 charge. They're crooks. I got the charge off and I got my bill lowered with the same amount of speed. I just threatened them with leaving their services and they hooked me up with some stuff. The speed it fine now and is at where it's supposed to be. But I had to call 3 or 4 more times for it to be actually fixed. Good luck with them

Call and complain don't hang up until you get a refund.

I have Comcast and they screwed my bill up for 3 months straight and I would call every month and bitch. Finally after threatening to cancel my services they found a "promo" so I get my services 1/2 off for a year.

Keep asking for a manager as well.

I got credited $50 one month because my modem broke and they wanted me to drive 2 hours to a store..nope I was pissed and made sure they knew, I guess with Comcast you just need to be an ass to get what you're rightfully owed.

With Comcast you have to be stern when talking to their support reps as well as their techs. Their support reps read off of a script so if you get someone who sounds like they are reading off of a script, ask to talk to their supervisor even though they might read off of a script too. Comcasts Techs on the other hand, they are told a certain number of things to do in training. They live and die by those teachings and will swear up and down that it isn't an issue with their data capping or modems/routers, it's an issue with your lines.

I would strongly try and argue with a supervisor for Comcast or go down to the Comcast store and argue with them their. They are bound to give you a discount on your services or a promo deal.

Never had Comcast but with Fios my speeds were slow and I needed a new router so I called for a complimentary ones, turns out they charger us $80 for each router and sent us 13... Thank god we returned them or we would be screwed!

Update on everything. I ended up calling and sure enough they did credit me back. Oddly enough my bill was now 45$ instead of the normal 65 I paid. guess a win for me I guess?
