if you want to pay silly money for insurance then go for it, but the chances of even being able to get insured are low as it is too much for a 1st time driver.

Id go for the Mustang but its a bit of a wild first car, don't you think?

Mustang is one of my favourite cars.

I'd take the BMW. It will be a nicer car to drive and it's German engineering.

+ the 2 series are one sexy ass range of cars. Would give an arm for one!

Those are not first cars at all. You should be buying your first car, mommy and daddy aren't doing anything for you by buying that car for you. I will tell you right now insurance will be sky high and you cannot afford the maintenance. My brother has a 2013 Mustang base model and he pays 300/mo in insurance, that's not even full coverage.

A BMW is a Big Money Waster. Call up a mechanic and as them how much it would cost to replace a CV axle in one of those. You will have to replace them. Hell, ask how much an oil change is lol.

EDIT: Not only that, but this car will be wrecked. You are just learning how to drive, and now you put a kid in the drivers seat of a fast car? Bad idea, I won't be visiting you in the hospital, and I don't want to see any threads about you moping that you have to pay a ton of money to replace the tail lights on the Mustang after someone backed into you.

And that's just FACTORY. Forget after market.
