They need to change the rules back to never being able to ask for rep, thats the beggars way of asking for rep and its just as annoying as plainly asking for it

Some people really want higher rep, just cause it looks cool, or want that 1000 thanks badge which to me is a pretty prestigious badge compared to the other achievable badges. I agree with you that you will be repped and thanks if they feel like you deserve it, but since it isn't against the rules anymore can't really do anything about it. Not really a big deal anyways, but i can see why it bothers you.

I honestly don't know why it bothers people so much when someone they have never met on the internet asking for thanks and rep that mean nothing in real life and only attached to this website. What does it honestly matter? Asking for thanks and rep are now allowed as well, so...
