You will be needing windows, If i were you I would not risk it by pirating as you can be installing a OS with malicious code in it. Do yourself and favor and ignore the "free way" and buy it. If you are a college student with a .edu e-mail you can get windows 8.1/10 pro for around 70 bucks or you can buy a key from thetechgame.org

It's easy enough to get it free, and nothing wrong with it, at all. We can't help you here, but it's easy enough to find info on Google/YouTube. You could always use Linux if need be.
