Ok, so on average I play for around 4 hours on it per day (Not that long compared to others) and when I put my hand over the fan, it is REALLY hot to touch. It is a legitimate console and not some Chinese knock-off. It the white Sunset Overdrive console. Also when I try to hear the fan going, it is a very faint sound but it is going to some extent.
Anyone know what to do?

Do you have things covering the fans or is it in a tight space you might have to move it because the area of your console might not be getting enough air flow.

Nope, Nothing is covering it and it is in a wide area on a drawer that is under my desk.

Your Xbox will be louder when installing games and apps. If your Xbox is overheating, your fan might be broken. You have a 1 Year manufacturer warranty. You can get it replaced with no cost on you if its your first year owning the console.
