Okay so may seem like a stupid question but just want to make sure. I currently have an xfx 550w psu but am upgrading to a 600w corsair psu as old one died.
Can I just install the new 600w one without any problems as its a higher wattage or does it not affect the pc at all?
Thanks

please don't tell me you're going to get a CX600..
don't, it's a shit unit.
Grab another XFX unit or step up to a Seasonic 620W EVO.

Oh wait yes sorry I did go for the seasonic 620w. Originally was looking at the corsair but someone told me not to. So yes will it be alright if I upgrade to the 620w?

yeah it will be fine, nothing to worry about. just make sure cable management is decent as you don't have an excuse with a fully modular PSU.
