Okay I must need to pick up heavy drinking or something, because I can't handle this. If you guys can't keep on track and focus on the topic, I'm going to have to stop just locking threads and playing babysitter. A PM may have worked for this, but it's obvious that issues are spilling out onto the forum, and creating a toxic posting environment.
PEOPLE.....If a member is asking for help on a build DO PUT together builds and critique others on theirs.
DO NOT: Bicker about every opinion and personal preference that someone has. Everyone has their own opinions and starting personal vendettas against other users is just silly.
We're all just trying to help people get a cool rig, that fits their budget and needs. Not shill for companies and yell at people for not liking what you like. I'm tired of locking threads and slapping wrists, communicate freely, but don't just call something a Piece of shit. WHY is it a piece of shit? Explain, and then explain why your option is better. Quoting someone's thread and cherry picking their argument, and in return calling their opinions shit, is not what we need here.
Topic staying open since I don't think all is lost and OP is just looking for help, not for his topic to get spammed with passive aggressive flaming and childish posts.

I have to agree with Scizor it's getting out of hand to be honest and kinda puts me off posting to help.
When we bicker about builds all its gonna do is put the OP off our original suggestions which defeats the purpose of the bloody forum!

Excuse me. Don't try to turn this around on me, thanks. Why would I PM a user when all he does is resort to flaming? You've all seen the shit he's been posting. In fact, I've reported him several times for flaming and several of his posts where he has called either myself, or another user a name, he hasn't been punished for doing so, at all, and sometimes the posts aren't even removed. These sections have turned to shit with all the noobs thinking they know better but actually not proving anything or providing any facts/statistics.
Alrighty, because it's a cheap shit TN panel as opposes to the better IPS panel. Pretty much that simple.
I feel like this is aimed at me but I haven't been cherry picking anything and "MagnaFlow" was the first one to start calling suggestions shit, not me.
P.S. I posted lots of videos proving that SSDs are very much worth it and belong in any self respecting rig now a days.

If they both have a problem (Sanctorum and Magnaflow) why couldnt they take it to PM?

Report him for flaming and be done with it. Dont just spam on someone elses topic. You're not helping anyone but yourself. If you really want to prove him wrong, take it to PM.

As for the PM part I meant me sending users a PM, sorry if it wasn't clear, my fault.
I agree, SSD's should go in most rigs these days, price/GB and performance are at all time lows and highs. However I notice that arguments have been carrying over throughout threads and any opinion that someone posts is liable to being flamed or called worthless.
Not everyone is on the same knowledge level or has the same opinions, we aren't here to argue over why someone has their own favorites, even though having favorites in a world where the companies are just here to sell you stuff is silly.
The PC sections are, in my opinion, the strongest on TTG, not the biggest, but thousands of people have come here and got help, and we have a great group of people willing to help. I do not want to see this section fall into the general chaos of some of our other sections,
Please, everyone, back on the rails and let's keep the thread moving, thank you!
