ok so i have been talking to this girl for about a year and over the summer she asked me for my number and i gave it to her and we have texted every day for about a month now and im not sure if i want to ruin the friendship & make things awkward by asking her out, also i have no idea what to say to her at all.
should i risk losing the friendship by asking or just not do it.

Don't stay in a friendship if you like her to much and she doesn't give it back because it will hurt bro, go for it can go two ways but i recommend getting out of there if she doesn't feel the same because it can be painful

im really not afraid of her saying no cause you know everyone gets rejected it just i dont want the friendship to be ruined and it to be really awkward every time i see or talk to her

yeah do it man, if she says no oh well. shes not worthy of the year you guys spent as friends.. 1 year is a long time and for her to ask YOU for YOUR number and deny you a date is kinda messed up, plus even if she says no you can just say "as friends" to cover it up/

Go for it dude! I don't understand why she would say no, If she says your in the "friend zone" she's just most likely shy. I don't see why girls avoid boys that are apparently in the friend zone because that lad is probably the best lad for her, Just go for it man if she says no there's loads more out there! Good luck
