So i bought 3000 crowns earlier putting me on a total of 3500 ready to spend, but what in your opinion should i spend them on?

the ring of mara is only useful if,
a) you have a friend who you play with regular AND are in the same level questing area.
The ring only works when you have the ring equipped, are in a group with the player that you are bound to, are in the same group as said player AND in the same zone.
this is all confirmed and tested on the PC, as on the PC you can highlight the EXP bar and check and killing a normal MOB vs a Mob when the player was in the zone and group. The latter gave more exp.

Just to add, Do you have ESO plus ? if you dont have ESO plus then save the crowns, as when the first DLC hits it will cost 2.5k crowns to purchase, which means that you can get it with that. If you do have the ESO plus, you can always spend the crowns on Mount lessons (1k for 10 lessons) Repair kits (repairs all armor in inventory and only uses 1 of the 10) Motif books, rare ones such as Daedric are 1.5k. Other than that its down to cosmetics like mounts etc.
