You'll get better over time, just keep on practising. If you don't feel comfortable drive around areas, you know where the traffic isn't busy.

Rax wrote I got my permit two days ago and i have drove twice( each drive about 10-15 minutes long ), i have taken drivers ed and got a 15/15 on my permit test but i feel like im a horrible driver, yesterday i tried to park a car and i failed miserably, i also forget to look over my shoulders when i change lanes, and i am trying to only use one foot while I drive but i'm in the habit of using two feet. Is this normal and are there any tips.
Try practicing your parking on empty lots of malls or huge shops like best buy when it's almost empty. The best way to improve is to keep on practicing. good luck.

It is normal to think that you are a bad driver at first keep driving just be careful and you will soon get the hang of it.

Some people use both feet to drive so that part is reasonable, but you should really get into the habit of only using one. If you're unsure about practicing on main roads, practice in a parking lot just driving around and only use one foot. As for changing lanes... you have to remember to check your mirrors and your blind spots... but it's only your second time and you'll get the hang of it. As for parking... I've been driving for almost two years and even though that isn't a long time... I still park like a :!: ... first off, I have parking in between two cars... and then when I park in open spaces I tend to park a little crooked... it's just something that you get better at over time... I'm sure you'll get your license whenever that time comes, it's not that hard and everything just takes practice but I'm sure you'll do fine

I am sure over the practices you will get better and better and hopefully you will brake the habit of using 2 feet I would do the same thing because i would be very new to driving but i have not gotten my permit yet sadly.

1 week you will feel alot more comftable but reckomend you drive allot more that 10-15 minute to get more used to driving, Even when you pass you Tests your still learning... months after where you will need to adapt an learn new things when driving there will always different things you will come across and find difficult.

The more time you spend driving the better you'll be just whatever you do don't use two feet that's the worst thing you can do and when parking try aiming ahead of where you are actually going and the car will follow
