My build is gonna be mainly used for gaming and photo editing, and some 3D modeling programs, and little school work.

Would I ever use up 32gb of ram? Using these types of programs? Usually one at a time. Not all at once. Or should i save a little money and go with 16gb of ram.

And this will be DDR4- 2800

Thanks for all the support the community is giving me with my build.

You can afford it, get it. Better to have and not need, than need and not have. Whether you'll use that much RAM, depends on how much you'll be using the programs and what you'll be using them for exactly but if it were me, I'd just get the 32GB.

Either way, get 4 sticks. Either 4x4GB or 4X8GB. That way, you still have 4 free DIMM slots for ugradability, if need be.

Depends what programs you'll be using and it what way.

Some programs won't even use half of the 16GB unless you know how to make it use more.

I'd say 16GB was safe for any build for a consumer user.
