Your just jelly cause you can't afford the fuel and the truck so gtfo with your bullshit

Own a gasser but waiting to enroll in UTI next fall to become a diesel mechanic not sure what brand im going to major in yet but maybe a powerchoke cause they always break down

Can't afford fuel? That is the weakest argument I've heard lol. Considering they get better MPG than a gas truck, and right now diesel is cheaper than gas in my area.

Also, I wouldn't be putting my money specializing in the powerstroke engines. I would personally trust the engine made by international (Ford) over the one made by Isuzu (Chevy) lol. Not to mention that joke of a trans Chevy has lol I don't see why people like it. To me the best diesel set up by far goes to Dodge.

You might get lucky if you get trained in the powerstroke engines. Reason being is because the people that haul real loads get a truck that can handle it- Ford. You see, Fords get used to haul stuff. Chevy's are just shop ornaments.

Only reason they sell more is cause they break down on the way home so they buy another to replace the old pos they owned and also the Allison trans is better than any ford trans I have seen in my life but in serious matter here where I live there is more money being made on powerchoke cause they break down all the time but a duramax would have triple the miles over a powerchoke being its better made

I love lifted trucks, but I hate Diesel engines. Honestly, people that use them as daily drivers that never actually pull anything are retarded.

1- Diesel engines are like $11,000 more than a gas engine, not that money is an issue for me or anything, but I couldn't justify getting a more expensive engine with a more expensive fuel choice.
2- Diesel engines are heavy. Way heavier than gas counterparts. You notice how most mud trucks are gas? Diesel engines are way too heavy to reliably and confidently go through the mud. They sink easily.
3- rolling coal is absolutely retarded. IMO it's the equivalent of a Honda Civic owner putting a loud exhaust on: completely pointless and screams you're a douche.
4- the people that say they're fast, for the difference in price I could twin turbo a gas engine for cheaper, and demolish any Diesel engine truck. Even just putting a supercharger and some forged internals easily beats a tuned diesel, for way less money.

Note- this is all coming from someone that has lived in the south all of my life. But it is just my opinion on some things.

Yea its kinda sad how much diesel performance parts are but you can make them fast it just takes lots money to do it, like a twin turbo set up for my gasser truck is like a grand and for a twin turbo kit for a duramax is like 13 grand that just insane to me

But a 10 sec duramax would be nice tho

Not sure why somebody would want a truck that is lifted way too high, loud, and blows soot on everything. 99% of the people who own one are obnoxious rednecks. The other 1% are just obnoxious.

You get tons of attention when you just dump coal in the middle of the intersection and haul butt and when you live in Kentucky everyone loves that stuff so i get tons of compliments on my ride.

I like Diesels. Im considering getting a diesel Volkswagen for the MPG, and the ability to roll coal in golf.
