As for the 3TB HHD, doesn't seagate usually fail randomly? I would get it if it didn't fail a lot. But thats would I heard so I don't know.

Use Win10 preview and you'll get future Win10 builds for free as well. No. Seagate HDD's don't fail a lot, randomly.

OP-Don't pay for OS. Get the EVGA 850W G2 since you're not interested in 3-way SLI. The 5820k is a 6 core, 12 thread CPU vs the 4C/8T 4790k, so the 5820k will do much better at editing/rendering and what not. I'd recommend a bigger case, even if it's only slightly bigger. 2-way GPU set-ups in the H440 take up a lot of room. The H440 is still a great option though.

Don't waste $150 on a 3TB HDD though;

Windows recently announced that anyone using the Windows 10 preview would get a full, free upgrade when it is fully released. What's the point in paying for Win7/8.1 when you can get Win10 for free...

The HDD isn't common for failures, it's just that you would hear more from the people who do get a faulty one. I have 3 x 1TB seagate barracuda hard drives and I haven't had any problems. I wouldn't go make it known that the product I paid for works fully well and exactly how it should be... What's the point?
That's where you'll hear the people it does go wrong for moan completely.

Alright. Now will I need anything else? Will I need any additional fans?
