They pretty much have to at this point. They'll have to be pretty impressive with both Broadwell and Skylake intel processors dropping this year.

In the video, he did inherently imply that AMD's new cpu's will support DDR4. Im just wondering if they're gonna stick with the FM3+ Socket or change to something different. I just bought a new mobo and don't want to have to replace so soon. .____. guess ill have to for DDR4 though.

Yep, the new processors will be AM4, which will be for both CPUs and APUs.

"After all they are shady and bad but yea"

"Shady and bad but yea"

"Shady and Bad"

Why begin with the biased comments about which cpu company produces better cpu's. AMD's current cpu's aren't built within the same price range; I dont see why people are suprised that Intel has better architecture when making the consumer pay hundreds upon thousands of dollars. The new AMD cpu's from what iv heard so far are to compete with these intel cpu's at cost of having higher prices just as intel does. Either way, i want to see some bad ass processors to complete my experience with DirectX12. VR gaming is near!

why with the biased comments about amd well lets start amd isnt really ment for gaming the cpus arent that good their cards are meh to everything about them is a lie they put they will either say the cpu is a quad core when its not they do everything bad that is why its cheaper

AMD is using an entirely new architecture with they're new cpu's Btw. Their will be no more shared cache. on top of that, me being someone who uses my pc's for cpu intensive situations other than games, i find both Intel and AMD to work great in different scenarios. Iv had multiple occasions where my pc running an AMD 8350 has done better than my pc running and Intel I5. And vice versa. My point is. Just because the "In crowd" thinks Intel is jesus because everyone uses them in they're gaming pcs doesn't mean that they're the only people capable of creating quality Processors. Besides, who says you cant have multiple AMD & Intel Pc's & be Happy. Roit m8?

I agree, AMD isnt bad but they have been slacking recently.

With Skylake just up the road apparently, it will be interesting what AMD brings out as there CPU only cpu, not an APU.

I really hope its not disappointing again. I actually have high hopes of what AM4 can bring to the table.
