From what I've gathered, when you play (for example) Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox One, you will be playing with people on the 360. However, I am still extremely curious as to how the voice chat will function, if it functions at all.

Will there be cross-platform game chat? Can you join 360 parties? If anyone knows anything or has any ideas please let me know!

When playing the game it basically emulates an Xbox 360, so you have the guide and can do everything an xbox 360 does. AS for the mic, if you have a mic connected it will show up in the 360 game.

Yeah doubt they would make parties from Xbox One to 360 work, i think it'll be just in game.

i tried talking to my friend however when i joined the party it never shows the mic symbol near my name however i had a mic plugged in, they could update it within the next update.

It will perform just like as it would if you
were playing on your 360. It opens up an emulator.
Same boot screen and everything. It's like a built in
360 on your Xbox One.
