Yes, they announced that you will be able to play Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One.

Xbox Preview members get it tomorrow I think and for everyone else im not sure.

They said it will be in effect by "this holiday season". I'm assuming around Thanksgiving/Christmas, but that's just my guess.

It is out for all preview members. And you can get the games today, just not Call of Duty as they have not allowed it yet.
