So I've been looking into getting an RGH, and I was looking how to get online, and stay anonymous and found a video that shows IP and MAC address spoofing. After watching the video and thinking about it, I use a desktop computer next to my Xbox and that computer only has 1 ethernet port, so I'm not sure how to connect the Xbox to that computer and have that computer connect to the modem? It does not have a wireless adapter. Any help would be appreciated, and I hope this is the right forum, thanks.

I would say to go buy a wireless adapter.
You could probably find a wireless adapter for $20.

That's what I was thinking... I might end up doing that, or seeing if my IP is dynamic which I think it might be, and in that case I would just have to unplug my router and make sure my IP was changed before going back on my retail, correct?

I'm not sure about the dynamic IP, but I think you should definitely buy a wireless adapter.
The one that you found on Amazon looks good to me.

How would I do that without connecting the Xbox to the computer by ethernet cord?

Ok thanks, I'll probably do that if I can't find a better way.

You can either get a wireless adapter for your computer and plug the ethernet cable in to your Xbox and your modem, or you can buy a wireless adapter for your Xbox [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and plug the ethernet cable in to your computer and your modem.

I was planning on getting an RGH slim so it would have a built in wireless adapter.
