Is this a public event with groups and clubs? Taken part... and allow other to join
because my brother is wondering if he would be able to join the bike ride, he has been doing a few charity rides recently most was "84 Miles" so "100+ Miles" would be something he want's to join.
(Plus he is often in Bristol) Not to far to travel by train.

This is a privately organized event I am afraid, just a few close friends doing it. Tell your brother thanks though.

Another update,

I have entered a little 42 Mile event on the 4th of July (the weekend before the main event) as a warm up. Also the first load of rep has been dished out, I will get the next load of donators sorted when I go home.

Cheers guys

Two highest Donators will get Awesome or Ninja you pick.

Steps:
1) Donations must clearly say TTG then Username
2) Report back to this thread after you've made the donation

As i mentioned, i had a best friend that died from cancer at the age of 12 and know how painful it is to have someone that you know diagnosed. From the moment my friend was diagnosed the hospital took care of him, they kept him smiling and opened their doors to me so that I could do the same. As with everyone me and my friend had a lot of rough moments. I was bullied a lot in my teenage years and tended to pass on the cycle of pain now and again. However, I do believe that it was all on the surface and we did love eachother deep down.

I come from a lower middle class family that has fell on rough times in recent years and have been unable to contribute to any charitable causes in the past. Though i have been working damn hard lately in order to make something out of myself, causing my recent drop in activity. With my now constant flow of income i felt that this is the very least I can do. The thought that an organization can help kids and put a smile on their faces during the darkest hours of my life is honestly heartwarming. I hope from the bottom of my heart that this donation allows this to continue. What you are doing is amazing and if i lived anywhere near you, i would join you without a second thought. Yet for now this is what i have decided to do

Sure, this is for you, this is for cancer treatment. But in a way, it's also for my friend. It's been 6 years since then but i will never forget the good times, the bad times, the hard times and the easy times.

Think what you will of my intentions. But as an individual that is constantly attempting to live at his edge every single day, this is another step on my journey, for better or worse.

Cheers,
Ian (Katsumi)
