I've recently jail broke my iPhone 4 7.1.2 with Pangu, all was well until I tapped on the Cydia app. I know I shouldn't have done this but as it was preparing my files for my phone, I turned it off as it was taking so long.

When I turned it back on, I had no settings, music, app store, apple software etc. Apart from my downloaded apps. I managed to fix it by updating my software to 7.1.2 again but now I don't have the Cydia app or iFile so I can't install the deb. file with iFunbox.

Also, In iFunbox, I can't access var/root/mobile. It also says my device is already jailbroken on Pangu so I can't do it again, as I don't have a backup of my device before jailbreaking.

Any solutions on how to get Cydia back...?

Back up your phone if you have anything on it and restore it and start al over again.

Your only solution to this is too restore the device, and then Jailbreak again.

I don't know what you've done, I've never heard of this happening and not being able to install through funbox but if you did find a fix other than a restore would you care to let me know for future references please ?

Cydi used to take a while to prepare the files on my iphone 4 also. Just wait through that. I thought mine was stuck the first time i did it, but I have jailbroken enough devices to know that you just need to wait while it prepares. Shouldn't take longer than a minute or two, give it 10 at most. If it's still not done preparing files then yeah something could be wrong
