For Christmas I got a PC my dad wouldn't buy me parts nor would he buy one from any other site other than PC world, so yeah you can guess I got ripped off and the PC is poop (apart from the CPU it seem fine)
so here is the same PC but my GPU is a GT 720: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Budget and currency for upgrades?

Make and model of power supply?

What you want the computer for?

Budget is no more than 400 GBP

I'm not sure what my current PSU is, but if you mean what i want it doesn't matter to me

And the computer is for general gaming, im playing CS:GO a lot at the moment

Looking at that PC Imma guess you'll need to buy a new case because it's just wide enough for the motherboard I/O never mind a GPU.

Don't spend money on more memory yet.
also that power supply is bad very bad just don't.

Ok I need to redo my comment, apologies for my ratchet comment earlier. You can definitely salvage this ram, cpu and mobo for another case and such, so this is very doable.

Here is my recommended part list: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
This is all you will need. You will be able to upgrade later on easily, so that's a plus. However, if you want my advice, save and build a new rig.

I wouldn't recommend EVGA PSUs, their other products are fine, but I've had 2 EVGA PSUs crap out on me in 3 months (each).

I'm not talking crap? I was just suggesting for the good of our original poster. I had my supernova for about 2 1/2 months, after awhile the PSU stopped supplying power, it ended up being a faulty unit, so I sent it back and got another, same thing happened in the same time frame. I've had this current PSU for going on 5 months, still no problems. Granted I should have worded my original post. Your link is a different PSU than the one I had, my problems were with my 750w SuperNOVA Hex, their customer care is great and they got me hooked up with another one, however, as I said before it suffered the same fate. Maybe their other Power Supplies are reliable, but my experience with them has been alright, I had an EVGA 760 that was wonderful. All these edits I just had a huge brain fart.
