I have Windows 8 and I prefer it over Windows 7 because I like the metro design. I have no problem with the operating system.

I've had it for a year, currently in the process of switching back to windows 7, and installing hackintosh zone on another hard drive to run mac, RUN MAC, THAT'S HOW MUCH I HATE IT.

Sorry for you windows 8 lovers.

Respectable; everyone has their opinion I used to hate it myself but I got tired of the windows 7 feel so I just went to windows 8 and I love it now, I can't stand using my schools computers that have windows XP on it because of the huge differences in OS xD.

Windows 8 is t that bad, it actually made the switch to it a few weeks ago and installed start menu 8 and it is pretty nice. No need to go off on something that clearly aren't skilled enough to use.

The only problem, or I should say, main problem, is how it deals with the control panel and such. I hate how much it transformed into a more tablet style OS. Meaning it's much less customizeable etc. It's trying to combine tablets with PCs which I just hate. I like how apple has different OS's for their computers and tablets. Windows 8 just trys to do it all in one.

And guess what? It is not clean, and doesn't work.

And to everyone saying that you "just aren't smart enough to use it". Windows 8 is designed to be easier to use than windows 7. That was part of the design of the OS, it is supposed to have that tablet start menu to literally make it easier to use.

What do you mean it doesn't work? I have had it since last August and had no problem at all with it. (maybe it's the operator?)

By doesn't work, I mean it is just not that clean, having to switch between the tablet style home screen and the desktop interface is just not clean.

Install start menu 8, it is literally a life saver. It makes it just like windows 7 and even removes the metro tablet home screen.

Yeah, but as you said, it "makes it just like windows 7". Isn't changing the OS to be more like the older version the opposite of saying windows 8 is good. It is just like saying hey! Let's use windows 8, but make it just like windows 7 instead! I mean I love windows 8, when it is running just like windows 7!
