make some classes you want to level up in custom games.
next what you need is a friend that is in the multiplayer menu and he is hovering over public match.

alright so go to the bo2 menu and click on system link and hover over create game then press Y to go on friends and that friend that is hovering over public match join him but you need to press X and A at the same time but try to press X first and spam A when you do it right by your name there shouldn't show your prestige so all you need to do is wait until it puts you in a lobby.

(But when you are in the bot lobby pre-game do not click customize class because it will kick you out the game)

when the game is finished wait till you get into the pre-game and go to xbox home as fast as possible.

I like how the title says "solo" but the second line of your tutorial states that you need a friend. I would recommend changing the title to avoid confusion.
