Can you record game chat easily with a HD PVR2? My internet isn't good enough to stream so I can record party chat or is there another way?

u can record game chat... just it wont pick up ur voice

Thanks guys, I take it the crazy setup is about somewhere? And with game chat, if someone else is recording could I use their audio to add my voice to it? This is so much more complicated than the 360

You'll have to put audio chat through the TV and use a Mic on your computer to ensure your recording have you and other people talking.

Edit:

The Elgato software supports recording from the device and recording your voice as commentary and works well but I guess it would depend if you had an Elgato capture card or not.

I use a HD PVR, it has a microphone input on the capture so I guess it works the same, thanks!
