Hi, i'm an xbox one owner and getting bored of xbox
I'm thinking of downgrading from xbox one to xbox 360 and then i'll have cash too.
Does anyone know roughly or wholly when the servers are going to shut down?

No i heard it will be in between 2018-2020 because there are still 1000000s of people still paying a memebership just to play it

Yeah I heard their contract ends in 2017 but there are many rumors around.

Since Xbox just released a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] I wouldn't say any time soon.

Going off the original xbox info. The last game made for the console was made in 2005 (Madden 06), and the servers were done officially around 2010.

Given that and the fact they are still making games for the console (at a much slower rate) 2019 is when I think the servers will get cut.

@Swift, I literally was just about to post that.

I don't think it will end any time soon, as much rumors I've heard these last few months I'd personally say around 2018-2021.

since xbox one(original) closed its online in 2010 and the xbox all in one just came out i would say around 2016 to 2018 yes i called the original xbox(xbox one) since it is the xbox one

Defiantly not soon because of all the money they can make off of the games for the 360.

To be honest it won't be ending any time soon, as still loads of people play the console there would probably be an announcement from Xbox.

They signed a contract to make games for it till 2017 but I think they will keep the servers on after that since people still love the 360
